Martin Heidegger stands among the most influential philosophers of the twentieth century, redefining the question of Being and restoring it to the center of philosophical inquiry. This volume brings together a selection of writings that explore the interconnected themes of Being, truth, and transcendence within Heidegger’s thought. Moving from the metaphysical tradition of Aristotle to the transcendental philosophy of Kant, the essays collected here examine the transformation of ontology and the changing understanding of the relation between thought and Being. At the heart of this investigation lies Heidegger’s fundamental ontology, in which the meaning of Being is disclosed through the phenomenological and hermeneutical analysis of Dasein. Particular attention is given to Heidegger’s concepts of temporality, truth as disclosure, transcendence, and the unity of Being. Through an examination of Being and Time and related texts, the volume demonstrates how Heidegger reinterprets transcendence not as an escape from the world, but as a fundamental structure of human existence grounded in finitude, worldhood, and temporal
experience. Bringing together both classical and contemporary perspectives, this collection offers a rigorous introduction to some of the
most important questions in Heidegger scholarship. It will be of interest to students, researchers, and all readers seeking a deeper understanding of the philosophical significance of Being, truth, and transcendence.
